Broken Nose 2

This Greek portrait sculpture is in the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri. I love the delicate attention to detail in the beard compared to the roughness of the rest of the face. It's been treated roughly by time, but the beard stands out as finely-wrought work.
